DHD Design Studio: Paris, France; Debra Healy is a noted expert in the field of jewelry design, jewelry history and restoration of important historical jewels and objets d’art. Her multi-faceted experience as a trained jeweller and silversmith combined with an extensive knowledge of mid 19th through 21st century jewelry design and production techniques forms the basis for in-depth design analysis, direction, and product development utilizing historical knowledge and archival materials in the creation of unique concepts. She is co-author of Hollywood Jewels (Abrams) and Tiffany et les Joailliers Americains (Office du Livre Editions Vilo, Paris) in English, French, German and Italian. The English edition is titled American Jewelry Glamour and Tradition. She has been a guest speaker and lecturer at museums and institutions worldwide. From 1987 to 1990 she has travelled extensively in Japan and Europe working with both private and corporate clients on major art, decorative arts, jewelry, and gem acquisitions. Debra Healy is considered the premier practitioner and expert on enamel techniques and has restored many of the most famous enamel pieces ever made.
